Wize

Since 2004, Wize has steadily been making a name for himself as one of France’s hottest up and coming producers already being described in the dance music press as “having a sound that is simply superb; it’s a fusion of classic French House and Disco with something extra, giving it an uplifting quality.” after remixing the likes of Joachim Garraud, Geyster, RLP or DJ DLG & Redroche, his first original production Exhibition is released in March 2005 and remixed by the creme worldwide producers Manuel Tur, DJ DLG, Muttonheads, Fat Phaze, Ledge & the Dynamic Rockerz and reviewed on DanceFrontDoor in those words “like a glam rock fueled missile, comes ‘Exhibition’ from Parisien ‘Wize’. Giorgio Moroderesque emotion in bed with the cream of the French touch sound, underlayed by tight beats, mixed with that psychoacoustic mastery only associated with that other pariesien duo, Daft Punk. What can we say, except eargasm, eargasm, eargasm.”

After his successful first original shot, he strikes back with the worldwide buzzing and strongly supported ‘Again’ on the UK label Symphonic Records described as “an electro disco house cut that simply sets any dancefloor alight everytime it has been played.”

In May 2006, he produced with the famous french DJ RLP an uplifting track called ‘On Your Side’ and ‘On Your Side’ was played by some of biggest DJs around the world!

In June 2006, he teamed up with Joachim Garraud on a crazy filtered house / rock tune ‘Alive’ and took his first steps as a singer!

His plans for 2007 are productions for other artists, and the release of an album merging Pop, Electro and Groove.

Laurent Garnier “I like the original mix - will play it out.”

Noir “Another hypnotic and driving track from Alternative Route. Another winner.”

Number One Plastic Cool Cuts chart February 2007

IDJ Magazine “Alternative Route never seem to release a dud and continues on its rich vein of form with a fantastic, piece of instrumental prog house. The original mix marries a funky bassline with lush melodies and a rock guitar lick. Andy Slate’s remix keeps all the good things from the original but ups the tempo a touch and adds some keys in turning it into a trancier affair. A sure-fire success for the dancefloor.”

Matt Fiztpatrick “Really loved this... wicked!”

Jody Wisternoff “Pretty strong track.”

Slok “Nice Prog tune with a classic funky disco electric bass line. All the arrangements are well done and all the sounds fit into the meaning of this production. The original mix is perfect for a warm up set. The Andy Slate remix is better for late nights. Just tested last night!”

Luis Bonias “Nice track with a rock touch... the original one is for me.”

Andre Solaris “Absolutely amazing. Will be getting strong rotation on my XM Radio show and in the clubs in Chicago. Perfect combo of funk and deep soulful atmospherics. Perfect springtime track.”
