Bruce Aisher (left) Prok & Fitch (right) Bruce cut his teeth in the mid-nineties dance music scene at Cheeky Records with production luminary Rollo. This lead to him working on Dido’s platinum selling ‘No Angel’ album, where he provided all manner of synth twiddling and keyboard choppery. After a chance meeting he teamed up with Luke Brancaccio and as house duo ‘Brancaccio & Aisher’ went on to have a string of club hits for the likes of Bedrock, Parlophone/Credence and they’re own Player One Records. They have remixed for Sony, Mute, Renaissance, Strictly Rhythm, Bedock and many others. B&A are perhaps best know for ‘It’s Gonna Be... (A Lovely Day)’ which in 2002 reached No.1 in the US Billboard Club Chart and became a UK Top 40 hit. In 2005 Bruce formed the band Suicide Sports Club alongside Luke, with the intention of taking their studio based electronic music into the the live arena. Their album ‘Electric Mistress’ was released in 2006 with performances at V-Festival, Electric Gardens and Fabric. As well as the band they DJ regularly - from Herbal in London to Creamfields in Buenos Aires. Suicide Sports Club are currently completing their 2nd album and have recently featured in the soundtrack to US box-office top-10 movie ‘The Invisible’. Besides SSC, Bruce has been producing tracks for Dead Rabbits, White Subway, Anglo-Chinese pop star ‘Cherry’ and his (other) new band The Petrashevsky Circle, who’s album ‘The Miracle Of Science, The Agony Of Love’ is due in 2008. In 2006 and 2007 Bruce has also found time to develop his solo club alter-ego Gutterstylz (and G-Stylz) with tracks and remixes for Bedrock, Renaissance, Burrito, Mashtronic, MoFo HiFi, Alternative Route and Morrison. His latest success has been with the Sasha championed remix of Musetta’s ‘Peace & Melody’. Bruce works mainly from his own ‘Whole Equation’ studios in Brighton whilst attempting to find time to write for Future Music magazine and act as Visiting Lecturer in Music at Hertfordshire University. Brighton boys Ben Prok & James Fitch joined forces after meeting in a record store in 2006. Both DJ’s in their own right with 18 years experience between them, they discovered that their tastes were very similar and became the formidable DJ duo we know today. After much success they decided to extend the spark from their sets behind the decks, into the studio: the creative synergy and hard work that ensued lead to the conception of their first creation - Outro Lugar. The debut was instantly picked up by none other than Roger Sanchez, who gave it some serious spins and signed it to his Stealth label. Hype built quickly around the release - and accelerated Prok & Fitch’s exposure, leading to a prime slot at the 2008 Miami Winter Music Conference, where Prok & Fitch joined Sanchez as special guests. Fast forward to present day and Prok & Fitch have an extensive portfolio both behind the boards and the decks - with remix credits including 2 national top 10 hits in the last 6 months, working with artists such as Utah Saints, Freemasons, Shamus Haji, Kraak & Smaak, Funkagenda, Hoxton Whores, Filthy Rich, Kid Massive, Shikstylko, Freejak, Bruce Aisher to name but a few! Their sound is bouncy and energy fuelled, drawing elements from all genres of house music, making themselves suitable for all floors. Whether it is a main room full of ladies or the dark confines of a sweaty after party; they play for the dance floor and never cease to please any crowd!
